​Grab your picnic basket and join us for the first Opera Picnic of 2025! 
Ping & Woof Opera and Villa Catalana present a program in two parts. Part one will feature a variety of musical selections which explore the themes of dreams & wine, by composers such as Mozart, Faure, Thomas, Stauss, and more. Part two will present "The Dream", a one act opera by Eugene composer Ashley Hastings.

Written for Jocelyn Claire Thomas and Emily Pulley, Hastings sums up the plot by asking a series of questions: "What happens when an author's main character shows up at her door and demands changes in her story? Who's awake? Who's asleep? Who's dreaming? Who knows?" With an abundance of humor, wine, and Oregon references, this show is sure to delight!

Bring your own picnic and short chair or blanket and wine glass. Wine will be sold by the bottle upon arrival. $25 per person.
